15 Restaurants That Offer Paleo Friendly Food Options

The Paleo diet is a new tried that has hit the market around the world. This diet is a straightforward diet that gives people a list of what to eat and what not to eat. With every diet, the worst time is when you are going out to eat. It can be hard to follow through with any diet. The paleo diet has meals that are accessible at many of your favorite restaurants. There are even some on the menus of fast food restaurants. Bill Bronchick shares the 15 restaurants that make it a point of having items on the menu that coincide with the Paleo Diet.

Applebee’s

Applebee’s serves up great American food. It has a large variety that starts with burgers and pasta and ends with chicken fajitas. There are some things on the menu that are alright to eat while on the Paleo diet. The first is the honey BBQ wings. Since they’re sweetened with honey they don’t have all the extra sugars added. The same is alright for the ribs. Stick with the honey BBQ. The other option is the chicken grillers or grilled chicken breast. It is go-to at many different restaurants. Pair it with sweet potato fries to stay on the straight and narrow.

TGI Fridays

For an appetizer at TGI Fridays try the Tuscan spinach dip. You can replace the tortillas with crunchy vegetables also for an even better choice. For the main course, we recommend the cobb salad. It packs a lot of protein and filling vegetables for a great meal.

Chili’s

Chili’s is another place that has great wings. Here they have the smoked wings that have plenty of flavor without any sauce. The entrée that’s recommended is the avocado sirloin or the ancho chile salmon. Pair it with their smokey spinach and garlic roasted tomatoes or broccoli.

P.F. Chang’s

P.F. Chang’s is a Chinese restaurant that’s seen across the country. It’s known for its entrees as well as its appetizers. It has a gluten-free menu available as well. Start off with the egg drop soup and end with the pepper chicken or steak. Another go to is the lettuce wraps as well.

Outback Steakhouse

Possibly one of the best steakhouses around, Outback has options for everyone. Start off with the grilled shrimp skewers and end with the ribs or chicken on the barbie. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose.

Chipotle Mexican Grill

This is everyone go-to for great Mexican food. Many don’t know that it is one of the best places to go to when on the Paleo diet though. It has many different choices including the salad. Make sure to load up on the veggies and skip the corn for salsa instead.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings is known for its big televisions during sports games. It also has many items that are Paleo-friendly too. The first to point out is the pulled pork slammers. Refuse the buns and add it to a pile of buffalo chips instead. Try the great wings in many different flavors as well.

IHOP Restaurant

IHOP’s known for its breakfast. It’s in the name. Have some pork sausage and bacon but opt out for the pancakes if you are looking for gluten-free. All their pancakes have eggs. Switch the hash browns out for fruit instead.

Seafood at its best. Red Lobster has many options to choose from. Try the lobster and shrimp cocktail or the chicken wings. Don’t forget the oysters on the half shell or the steamed lobster too. They are both great choices as well.

Olive Garden

Olive Garden is the pasta king in the restaurant world. The Zuppa Toscana soup is the best option for appetizers and you can’t go wrong with the gluten-free rotini. If you want something other than pasta to opt for the herb-grilled salmon or Tuscan sirloin.

Who doesn’t love a little pizza in their diet? The best thing on the menu for those on the Paleo diet is the chicken wings. There are many different flavors to choose from.
