What is that Fly doing in my Soup?

imagesQAMNE4IZWell we have all heard the old joke, Waiter what is that fly doing in my soup?….The back stroke!  Ha  Ha  The truth of the matter is that many a truth is told in jest.  Bad restaurants are everywhere.  How do you know that that fly really isn’t in your soup?  Well there are review sites but you have to apply a little common sense.  If it quacks like a duck…well you get the idea.  Is it clean?  Are the floors clean? Is the silverware clean or spotted?  How does it smell?  Is the place busy or are you the only customer.  The simple observed items can help you decide if it is worth the risk.  Art Falcone can help with the decision.

Great Eats

If you need a review to tell you which food is good or bad, I cant help you,  Reviews are just some other persons opinion.  try it out, your ideas are just as good as others when it comes to food.  The best reviews can be found here, https://www.facebook.com/followFDDhttps://www.facebook.com/followFDD .  Just follow the link to a Facebook site.  The best review is one that you can learn from.  If you can see the same as the reviewer then it was a waste of time.  The only way I use reviews is to avoid terrible places.  I found out that bad reviews are usually truthful.

Eat Safe

Most eating out is safe due largely to the health laws that are enforced.  Reviews are a good place to look prior to eating out.  http://www.authorstream.com/DrVinceMalfitano/ is a good place to learn about these reviews.  If you have no idea if a restaurant is safe to eat at I would do a little research before eating there. Can you say that you have never questioned how clean the establishment is that you eat at?  I suggest that you be careful. Vincent Malfitano warns us to be safe when you eat out by only eating a reputable businesses.  When you get hungry tonight, be a smart eater and do your research

Surviving a Bad Review

Restaurant reviews are a bit like herding cats.  They are hard to deal with.  Just when you think they are managed another problem jumps up.  Saleh Stevens is the person to turn to if you need help with those reviews.  It is a challenge to keep a good public reputation when others control the reviews viewed by the public.  I cant imagine handing such an important aspect of my business over to someone else.  Yelp can be an example of reviews gone mad.  If you need the reviews to go away it may be advantageous to call the company directly and challenge the bad reviews.
